Loyola’s after-school instrumental music program gives students the opportunity to develop their musical abilities through personalized instruction in piano, violin, or cello. Students build strong musical foundations while developing confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lasting appreciation for music.

 

Piano

 

Private piano lessons provide individualized instruction tailored to each student’s experience and ability. Students develop proper technique, music reading, rhythm, repertoire, and musical expression in a supportive environment. Lessons are designed for beginners through advanced students, allowing each musician to learn and progress at their own pace.

 

Violin & Cello

 

Violin and cello instruction helps students develop proper playing technique, music reading, rhythm, tone production, and ensemble skills. Instruction is tailored to each student’s level, making the program welcoming for both beginners and students with previous experience.

 

Throughout the year, students have opportunities to showcase their progress through performances and school events, building confidence while experiencing the joy of sharing music with others.
