Create, Explore & Express Yourself

 

The Afterschool Art Studio is a welcoming creative space where students are encouraged to explore their imagination, express their individuality, and discover their own artistic voice. Rather than focusing on copying, students are free to experiment and create original artwork that reflects their own ideas and personality.

 

Throughout the year, students explore a variety of art materials, techniques, and mediums while learning about the elements and principles of art. They also discover artists from different cultures, time periods, and artistic styles, using that inspiration to create something uniquely their own.

 

Students will enjoy a dedicated art classroom designed specifically to inspire creativity, exploration, and artistic growth. The program helps children build confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills while developing a lasting appreciation for the arts.

 

At the end of the year, students will also have the opportunity to showcase their work in Loyola’s Art Show, celebrating their creativity, hard work, and unique artistic expression with the school community.
