Our Middle School Program
Loyola’s Middle School Program prepares students for the academic and personal challenges of high school and beyond. Our classrooms promote curiosity, independence, and leadership while continuing to reflect the values of faith, service, and excellence that define our community.
Students engage in a full academic curriculum that includes Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Spanish. In addition, they deepen their understanding of the Christian faith through coursework that explores theology, service, and moral development.
Each middle school student receives an iPad, which enhances learning through interactive lessons, research, and collaboration. Technology is used as a tool for creativity, organization, and innovation while reinforcing responsible digital citizenship.
Our music program expands into a full Orchestra Program, where students may choose to participate in percussion, wind, or string instruments, building teamwork, discipline, and appreciation for the arts.
Middle schoolers also enjoy a diverse selection of electives that allow them to explore their passions and discover new interests. Choices include Italian, Philosophy, Home Economics, Robotics, Singing, and more, giving students the opportunity to develop creativity, confidence, and critical thinking skills beyond the core curriculum.
At Loyola, we believe that middle school should be a time of exploration, responsibility, and growth. Our goal is to guide students to become thoughtful, capable, and compassionate young leaders who are prepared to make a difference both in the classroom and in the world.
